A contingent consisting of our PGM, R. W. Bro. Raymond Walton, the DPGM, V. W. Bro. Richard Northey, the APGM, W. Bro. Paul Hilditch and the Provincial Grand Secretary, W. Bro. John Park, attended the Annual Provincial Meeting of the Mark Province of North & East Yorkshire on Saturday 9th March 2024.
We and the rest of the Distinguished Guests, which included 21 Provincial Grand Masters, received a very warm welcome from their PGM R. W. Bro. Bob Clancy and the members of the Province. There then followed a very enjoyable Provincial Meeting in which, after the usual Provincial business, V. W. Bro. Paul Barham was re-appointed as DPGM and a new APGM was appointed and installed in the person of W. Bro. Geoffrey Nicholson. The PGM then appointed the rest of his officers for 2024/2025.
The meeting was also enhanced by the presence of the Assistant Grand Master R.W. Bro. Prof. Denovan Keith Wilson who has been a frequent visitor to the Province for many years.
After the meeting had closed there then followed a very enjoyable festive board with good food and good company with hospitality that was second to none.
