NMBF supporting Friends of Red Row First School

In early December we received a request from the Friends of Red Row First School for support. The school, based near Morpeth, teaches children aged 3-11 years of age and provides enriching experiences for children in their community. As is their tradition, they hoped to organize a special festive outing, this year to the Cinderella pantomime.

Attending such a performance offers the children an opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable Christmas experience. Unfortunately, for some families, the cost of tickets and transportation can be a barrier. Hence the request for donations to directly contribute to this outing which would make a significant difference in the lives of the children involved.

I am delighted to say that due to a combined grant of £500.00 from the Northumberland Mark Benevolent Fund and a further generous grant of £898.80 from the Richard Henry Homes Masonic Charity we were able to fund the entire cost of the trip!

Here is the recent letter of thanks that we have received.

Hi Ray,
I hope you are doing well.

I wanted to share some photos from our trip to the Pantomime, which your generous donation made possible. It was truly an unforgettable experience, filled with festive cheer – something the children don’t always get to enjoy. The trip became a wonderful talking point when we returned to school, and it was a heartwarming experience for everyone involved. Some of our children even got the chance to go up onto the stage!

Thank you once again for your kindness and support in making the trip a reality. It truly meant a lot.

Kind regards

Amy
